The name Ghostchild is taken from a childhood nickname for Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone. As a child, Sax survived so many potentially deadly incidents—including falling onto a lit stove, drinking boric acid, and receiving a heavy blow to his head with a brick—that he became known in his hometown of Dinant, Belgium, as the "Ghostchild."
