The 2018-19 season of Jazz At Studio Z kicks off with saxophonist Pete Whitman debuting his new group, URBAN NATURE, featuring Twin Cities jazz stalwarts Dave Hagedorn on vibraphone, Chris Lomheim on piano, Chris Bates on bass, and Phil Hey on drums. 

Two sets of music at 7 p.m. and a master class by Whitman at 6 p.m. on three ways to improve your improvisation on any instrument. 

Jazz at Studio Z features a diverse lineup of Minnesota's greatest jazz musicians and is dedicated to providing the community with greater access to the music and the opportunity to learn directly from the musicians at the workshops each month. ​
