Vocalist Peg Carrothers kicks off the 2015/16 season of Jazz at Studio Z by celebrating the US release of her album EDGES OF MY MIND (Vision Fugitive Records) which has already sold over 1000 copies in France. She will be joined by pianist Bill Carrothers, guitarist Dean Magraw, and bassist Willard Peterson for a great night of music at Studio Z.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 through the ticket link, and will be $15 at the door. As always, there will be a free master class before the show at 6p, led by Peg, about being the "Singer In the Band". Those who attend the master class get in to the show for $10. Kids 12 and under get in free. Jazz at Studio Z features a diverse lineup of Minnesota's greatest jazz musicians and is dedicated to providing the community with greater access to the music and the opportunity to learn directly from the musicians at the workshops each month.
