![]() Strains New Music Ensemble will present a concert of new chamber works featuring four world premieres by Minnesota composers Scott L. Miller, Ann Millikan, Adam Zahller, and New York composer Schuyler Tsuda.
Strains is James DeVoll, flute; Kyle Hutchins, saxophone; Carlynn Savot, cello; Jeremy Johnston, percussion. Pre-concert talk at 6:30pm, show at 7:30pm. Program: Straight (Moving) Through for contrabass flute, alto saxophone, cello, percussion - Ann Millikan Window Studies for four instruments, more or less - Scott L. Miller Kigumi for overtone flute, bass clarinet, cello, percussion - Schuyler Tsuda Monument to the Bravery of Chelsea Manning for contra bass flute, sopranino saxophone, cello, electric guitar, drum set - Adam Zahller Guest Artists: Carley Olson (bass clarinet) Taylor Wisgerhof (soprano sax) Joey Crane (cello) Andrew Thoreen (trombone) Adam Zahller (electric guitar) Tickets can be securely purchased by credit card or through your PayPal account in advance, or by cash, check, or credit card at the door.
